Community-focused research

The research of Dr. Bonnie Jeffery and Dr. Sylvia Abonyi was recently highlighted in Advancing Health III (2009). Advancing Health is a periodical that highlights ongoing health research within the University of Saskatchewan community. 

The project highlighted in the article, The First Nations Health Development Project,  focuses on working with First Nations and other communities in northern Saskatchewan to develop a toolkit of indicators that participants feel will provide them with valid information regarding the health of their communities.
