Canadian Observatory: Researching the justice system's response to intimate partner violence

Abstract

Observatories are proactive investigators, providing strong political messages that inform policy making.  The Canadian observatory will mobilize knowledge by creating and sustaining a synergy among those who are studying intimate partner violence and the justice system response, and by facilitating the sharing and transferring of knowledge across the country and abroad.
