Northern Health Strategy Progress Evaluation 2008
Abstract
This agreement sets out the terms and conditions under which the Northern Health Strategy Working Group (NHSWG) will engage the Saskatchewan Population Health and Evaluation Research Unit (SPHERU) to provide services to conduct an evaluation of their current project funded under the integration initiatives of the Aboriginal Health Transition Fund.
The Northern Health Strategy brings together thirteen partners to tackle common health challenges in Northern Saskatchewan. The overriding objective is to work cooperatively and collaboratively to improve the health status of all Northern residents. The NHS will continue to focus its efforts on activities which result in better integrated and adapted services that improve access to quality programs and services in the North. This evaluation proposes to assess progress made towards selected goals of the current project.
