Nazeem Muhajarine is a Professor and Chair in Community Health and Epidemiology, University of Saskatchewan. He is a social epidemiologist whose major research interests include how young children's family and neighbourhood environments contribute to their health and well-being, the role of social and economic status in use of health care services, survey methodology and analysis of complex data, as well as community-university research partnerships for knowledge development, transfer and application. He leads SPHERU's Healthy Children research area.
