Dr. Tom McIntosh is a political scientist who has worked extensively in the public policy arena. He brings his expertise on public policy making and knowledge transfer and exchange to numerous SPHERU projects. Tom was the Director of the Health Network at the Canadian Policy Research Network (2004-2007), a not-for-profit independent think tank (www.cprn.org). Prior to joining SPHERU in 2002, he served as the research coordinator for the Romanow Commission on Health Care Reform (2001-02), a Research Fellow and Senior Policy Analyst at the Saskatchewan Institute of Public Policy, a Senior Policy Consultant for the Saskatchewan Department of Health and a Senior Research Associate at the Institute of Intergovernmental Relations at Queen's University. He has a PhD in Political Studies from Queen's.
